Birthday Card + Mojo 253 Sketch

Playing along with Mojo Monday and this is the Mojo 253 sketch

With this sketch, I created a birthday card for a friend who will be celebrating his birthday in a few days.
Here is my card...
Happy Birthday

The pattern paper is an old collection from Fancy Pants.
which is lying around in my stash.

I don't do much skewed panel  in my cards but had fun making this one.

Also, I always struggle with masculine cards but I'm happy how this card turns out.

The card has been mailed today...on the way to it's destination.

Supplies:
Cardstock - Bazzill; Paper - Fancy Pants (Stud Muffin & Mechanics);
Embellishments: Jute twine, Tim Holtz Alterations Gadget Gears die, Spellbinders Nestabilities Fleur De Lis Squares; Martha Stewart  corner punch
Stamps/Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black; Freebie sentiment stamps - Our Betty; Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber - Copper & Snow Cap; Gold embossing powder

I hope you like my card.
Simply create and have fun!!!

Welcome Little One - Yellow Version

Hi everyone. It seems I have less crafty time these days. Work has occupied most of my time...plus being tired after work really does it and with the weather getting hotter each day makes it more exhausting. Well, this is middle east after all!

Anyway, today I have a card to share. The card was requested by a co-worker for her brother and sister-in-law who have a new baby girl. She wanted a yellow 'Welcome Little One"card.

I wanted to play along and create a card quickly and a sketch is a really great help so I use Mojo Monday 244  sketch.

Here's the card I have come up with using the sketch...

Welcome Little One

Other challenge blogs I love and wanted to share this card are:
Make It Monday #92 - Linky party
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes.

This card is a yellow version from the Welcome Little One pink card  with a baby pram I created and posted a few weeks back. I sure have fun creating this card.

Have a great and crafty day!

Cheers,
irene

Welcome Little One - Pink

Hi everyone. Days have gone by so fast and it's been awhile since my last post. Was a bit busy with work. Well, today I have a card to share. One of my closest friend gave birth to a healthy baby girl. This is her second child; I'm the Godmother for the first one.

I used Mojo Monday 242 sketch for this card.

First, I needed to create a card quickly and the sketch was a great help. My card was done in no time! And second, it's been awhile since I played along. Here's what I have created...

Welcome Little One

I used different shades of pink cardstock and the pattern papers are from Graphic 45 Little Darlings Collection (Heaven Sent), Sweet Baby Love (Tickled Pink) which I got as freebie from Papercraft Inspiration Magazine and the ones on the pram wheel behind the buttons are from Basic Grey kissing booth (Heart Breaker) which were scraps from a previous project.

It's my first time to make a baby pram but I sure had fun creating it. I was quite happy too how the pink checkered button fit nicely with the brown button which I have secured together with a hemp cord. Added a strip of lace and ribbon. Finished the card off with layered fabric flowers and some die cut leaves.

I am also sharing this card with Make It Monday.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Live Love Laugh

Hi everyone!

It's been awhile since the last time I've played along.
Well, it's time to use hoarded supplies from stash.
Time to take a break and have some fun time.
Time to "Live, Love, Laugh"

I created a card using Mojo Monday sketch 231

  Sharing this card to everyone.
In this card, I used some A4 paper stack pattern paper
 from Prima Reflections collections.

Made a punch paper rosette and attached a brad at the middle.
Added some trims from We R Memory Keepers.

Die cut patters papers using Framelits Fancy Label die,
then stamp with Life Sentiments from Kaisercraft.
Added some glimmer misted flowers, attached a button and cord.
Then finished it off with 3 rhinestones.

Live Love Laugh

Here is how the inside of the card looks.

Computer printer encouragement reads:

"Whenever your dreams take you
And whatever you're hoping for
You're wished days of happiness
With lots of fun in tore"

Supplies:
Card stock - white;  Pattern paper - Prima paper stack  (Reflections collection); Trims - We R Memory Keepers; Stamp -Life Sentiments from Kaisercraft; Tools - Big shot, Framelits Fancy Label, EK Success punches (border and flower); Ink - Walnut stain distress ink; Embellishments: fabric flowers (from stash), rhinestones (Kaisercraft), buttons (foof-a-la), tcord (Darice Hemp) and brad.
