An Elegant Flourished Heart {You Complete Me}

Hi everyone!
I was so delighted with the Easel Card with Pocket and Tags
as it made to Top 3 at Beyond Grey Challenges.
I hope it inspires you to make one.

And today I’ve got something elegantly flourish and to “die” for!
Oh Romeo and Juliet…

Why is it to die for? Well, as I don’t have a heart shape die,
so I used Tim Holtz Alterations Elegant Flourishes die to create the heart in this card.
Cutting out a heart shape would have been so simple and easy
but I wanted something special and “lovely”. I just love how it turns out!
I also used acetate in the middle front of the card
(which becomes quite a challenge when taking the photos),
punch some borders and hang the heart to make it look like it’s in the air!!!

 Love is in the air…

It is only so fitting to use for this card the
Kissing Booth collection from Basic Grey called lip gloss.
I have printed the sentiment directly into the pattern paper.

 You Complete Me?!
Yes, yes, yes! The die did it!
When 2 die flourishes kept facing it with each other it completes into a heart.
And that’s another use for this die too! Create it if you have one.

Did some dry embossing for added texture at the top and bottom
of the sentiments using only the bottom frame of
Sizzix Embossing Folder Ornate Frame Heart & Vines and then sand it.
Finished it off with a heart charm and rhinestones.

You Complete Me
  An Elegant Flourished Heart

A quick and simple card yet elegant on its own!
I hope you feel the love…

  12. Oppss, kinda forget that for WOCC, can only combine with two other challenges. Anyway, since I love this elegant card, I made another one in black and red version; added more rhinestones on it which turns out to be more flourished and elegant as ever.
